At ScSht, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data collection and usage for the ScSht Chrome extension.

1. 100% Local Processing & Offline Operation

ScSht is built to run entirely on your local machine.

• No Remote Servers: The extension does not use any cloud servers, external databases, or remote systems.
• No Tracking or Analytics: We do not track your usage, clicks, or extension behavior.
• No Network Calls: The extension makes zero outbound network calls and functions fully offline.

2. Information Collected and Stored

When you record a workflow, the extension captures:

• Screenshots of your active browser viewport.
• The coordinates of your mouse clicks on the page.
• The URLs and titles of the pages you are actively recording.
• Localized timestamps of each click.

Where is this data stored? All of the captured screenshots, URLs, coordinates, and timestamps are stored exclusively in your browser’s sandboxed local storage (IndexedDB). This data never leaves your device.

3. Data Deletion

• Session Purging: When you discard a recording session, click the trash icon in the review grid, or export the PDF, the stored images and metadata are permanently and completely deleted from your browser's local storage.
• Uninstalling: Uninstalling the extension automatically wipes all associated data from your browser sandbox.

4. No Third-Party Sharing or Data Selling

Because we do not collect or transmit your data to any remote location, we do not sell, trade, rent, or share any of your personal information, screenshots, browsing activity, or metadata with third parties under any circumstances.
